This is great news. I'm really looking forward to this game!
looks like the 360 got it's Haze
Well, Sam Fisher hasn't had his next gen debut like Old Snake has. Until he does, and his next gen epicness is even close to Snakes, then this will be a relevant discussion. I highly doubt Splinter Cell will be a better game than MGS4.
Dead Space was EPIC. Resident Evil 5 is just as awesome but is more action oriented.
Wow, watch a modern warfare 2 gameplay video and then watch this and try to say with a straight face that Halo ODST doesn't look last gen.
I bet he wishes Nintendo didn't release such massive amounts of crap this gen. Yes, I understand he got a promotion, rightly so too. No self respecting gamer should have to play and review some of the games he did, I don't care how much he was getting paid.
And for the record, my favorite FPS is Call of Duty 4, which blows Halo out of the water in every single category. As a matter of fact, Halo is a childs game when compared to COD4.
This rehash get judged as harshly as Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 did. I'm pretty sure Game Informer gave Halo 3 a 9.75, Killzone 2 8.75, and Resistance 2 8.5. Halo 3 can't even compare to these games in terms of graphics or gameplay(more players in MP and better SP set piece battles, which is pretty much what makes a good FPS). Halo ODST will get the same scores that Halo 3 did and that will pretty much PROVE THE RIDICULOUS BIAS IN THE GAMING MEDIA.
He probably got tired of reviewing all of the shovel ware from the Wii, who could blame him? It's hard to stay loyal to a company when 90% of their games are childish.
I never buy a used game. Usually looks like it was shoved up someone's arse anyway and I like to support those that actually created the game.
I completely disagree with Resident Evil 5. Not only was it a technical achievement, it was fun as hell to play, had great boss battles, and was more of the action and great gameplay from RE4 just polished to a fine shine. Yea, I didn't like having Sheva there also, but if you had a friend to play it with over PSN or LIVE, it was very enjoyable. Hype is created by the media, not real gamers.
I don't like Halo, but this game is definitely worth the money for any fan of the franchise. It's more of the same FPS gameplay that the fanbase enjoys, hence it's worth the money. Same as Modern Warfare 2 is for me. Some say that sequel is an expansion.
Killzone 2's bots on the hardest difficulty displayed more cunning and better tactical decision making than most noobs on COD.
Valve really should just use some of the money from the truckloads they have made and hire a team to develop games for PS3, it would make sense since they would profit from it I'm sure, and the fanboys would quit whining as well. It's a win/win situation.
I never thought I would see games like Bioshock and Call of Duty 4 this soon, I love it. Really anticipating gaming Next Gen.
It says no where in the article that Valve paid for their tickets. It says clearly they arranged to take off from work and fly out themselves.
yea, like they didn't do that on purpose, stoners lol
Well, a good place to start would be eliminating RRoD which has plagued the damn console since 05!!!!!!
I still play the game today, I'm almost at 240 hours online and I have easily beaten the campaign over ten times. Everything about COD rocks from the online community, the hollywood-esque single player, the customization in MP, the ability to go prone, the kill cam in MP(something that is missed in other MP games like K2) the fluidity of the controls, 60 frames per second gameplay, weapons that are fun to shoot, great variety in the SP, pretty good AI, great story, etc. The game is the entire...
Big surprise, they named the game after ghetto housing which is pathetic.
